Supper with Coco: A Lesson in Chemistry August 16th

( / )

Friday, August 16th 6:00pm-8:00pm

An homage to the best-selling book and hit amongst many local book clubs, this experience has been designed to explore the chemistry behind cuisine and includes show-stopping chemical reactions that will impress dinner guests and family members alike. Coco Pannell, a chemistry major at University, has been learning culinary techniques from her mother, Wendy, for her entire life. Inspired by Bonnie Garmus’ book, she has designed a hands-on cooking experience that showcases how the properties in many ingredients can alter the composition of others to create color-changing pasta, spherical yogurt balls, and a silky, luxurious goat cheese crostini with roasted cherries. Bring your friends, book club, or family members to this one-of-a-kind experience in our demonstration kitchen!
