Lovelight Candle Refill
Ready to fill or refill your Lovelight candle? Order a refill insert in the size of your candle vessel! Having trouble with figuring out the size of your candle? No worries! Your candle size is stamped on the bottom of your vessel.
These refills are custom designed to only work for Lovelight candle vessels. We cannot guarantee refill performance in any other vessels other than our own. Also please note not a standalone/pillar candle.
Care:
- On the first burn make sure your wick is trimmed to 1/4", allow the wax to fully melt to the edge of the vessel (2-3 hours). This will help prevent tunneling and extend the life of your candle!
- On every new burn, re-trim the wick to 1/4." the shorter the wick the longer and cleaner burn time you will have. There should never be carbon build up on your wick, this is was creates a large flame and black smoke.
- Do NOT burn the candle for longer than 3-4 hours at a time. it's time for a refill when there is 1/4" wax remaining.
- Keep your candle free of debris and soot buildup. if you notice black soot buildup around the edge of your vessel, its time to clean it. this can simply be done with warm water and a paper towel.
- Do NOT ever move a burning candle. before you move it blow it out and allow the wax to cool.
Artisan Information: Lovelight Handmade began in 2019 when Mike, searching for a meaningful way to make a living, considered the gap between the tactile traditions surrounding candlelight and the reality of today’s overcrowded and underregulated candle market. His love for craft and experience in furniture production propelled him to create his own candles. Olivia's background in both sustainability and pottery drove Lovelight's early shift from glass candle jars to hand-built, reusable ceramic vessels. Together, Mike and Olivia began producing the ceramics in makeshift studios, driving long distances to kiln-fire pieces, and pouring the candles in their kitchen, between working full time jobs. In May 2023, Lovelight opened its doors in Bradley Beach, just a few blocks from the ocean where Olivia and Mike surf and draw inspiration for their work. The studio is a multi-purpose, collaborative space offering classes, workshops, and Lovelight’s trademark candles along with goods by other local makers. Lovelight’s half-glazed candle holders are sleek yet sturdy and earthy, emulating colors and textural moments found in nature. They are designed to be replenished and enjoyed for life. The refills are crafted from a mix of coconut, soy, and beeswax swirled with certified non-toxic, plant-based fragrance oils, ensuring an aromatic but pure burn.
