- Can I rent out your space for private events?

We are open to helping you host a beautiful private event in our space! We can help you select food and beverage options through our preferred partners as well as tabletop decor and other entertainment goods for your upcoming event. You can email us at hello@homeforentertaining.com with your vision and we can set up a time to chat!
- Do you do corporate events?

Yes! And we love them. We have customizable options for off-site meetings, social events, team-building, and more. Please email hello@homeforentertaining.com to begin planning!
- Are your classes and events kid-friendly?

Most of our classes and events are designed with adults in mind, and because of limited slots, we typically reserve registration for adults 18 and up. However, we may host occasional kid-friendly events and classes, so stay tuned and keep an eye on our calendar!
- What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens and sometimes that means you are no longer able to make it to your Home for Entertaining experience. We will miss you! To ensure we are supporting our employees and instructors while maintaining a lively experience schedule we do have the following cancellation policy in place.
Experience registration can be transferred to an alternate attendee by emailing hello@homeforentertaining.com at least 24 hours prior to the experience start time.
Experiences canceled within 24 hours of purchase will receive a 100% refund to the original form of payment.
Experiences canceled up to 48 hours prior to the experience start time will receive a 50% refund in the form of store credit.
Experiences canceled within 48 hours of the experience start time will receive no refund or store credit.

- What if Home for Entertaining cancels a class?

Home for Entertaining will only cancel a scheduled experience if there is severe weather, unsafe facility issues, or emergencies. If a class does need to be canceled we will call all participants and issue a store credit for a future experience. This credit will be valid for 2 years.
- Where do you source your products?

We pride ourselves on carrying unique, heirloom pieces you just can’t find in a big box store. Like our sister company, Southern Studio, we always prioritize products made in North Carolina, but search high and low across the country – and world – to find the best products for your home. And because we’re so passionate about creating memories and joyful experiences, we look for products that tell a story. If you have questions about a particular product, let us know and we’d be happy to share more!
- What is your return policy?

Our goal at Home for Entertaining is to create pieces and experiences our guests truly love in their home. If something doesn’t feel quite right, we’ll do our best to take care of our guests—while also honoring the artisans, makers, and small businesses we proudly support.
Standard Returns
Refund to original payment method: Accepted within 30 days of in-store
purchase or delivery date for online orders.Store credit: Accepted within 60 days of in-store purchase or delivery date for online orders.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Gift Returns
Items may be returned within 60 days of purchase for store credit in the form of a gift card.
Customer must provide the name of the purchaser or the order number.
Condition Requirements
To be eligible for return or exchange, items must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- In original packaging
- With original tags attached
- Accompanied by a receipt or order number
Final Sale Items
All sale and promotional discounted items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Pricing Policy
Home for Entertaining does not price match previously purchased items, other
retailers, or vendor websites.Thank you for supporting a small business rooted in craftsmanship, community, and meaningful hospitality.
- Do you offer gift registries?

Yes! We love a reason to celebrate! If you are interested in creating a registry for an upcoming wedding, baby, birthday, graduation, promotion, or any other celebration we would love to help. Email hello@homeforentertaining.com to schedule a visit at the shop to begin your registry.

- Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Digital gift cards can be purchased online here. Physical gift cards can be purchased in store.
Gift cards in either format can be used for in store or online purchases in the retail market or for experiences.
All gift cards expire two years after purchase date.
- Are you able to ship purchases?

Yes! Shipping is available for all US orders. Shipping is available both in-store and online.
Purchases ship via USPS or UPS and we do our best to ship all orders within 2 business days.
- How long do I have to pick up my order?
-
Online purchases that select in-store pick-up have 90 days to pick up their order. Orders not picked up within 90 days will be donated to a local charitable partner and no refunds will be given.
- I’m a chef/artisan/vendor/maker interested in hosting a class with Home for Entertaining. Where can I get more information?
