Beatriz Ball

Beatriz Ball — artisan-crafted metalware, melamine, and serveware that brings sculptural beauty and effortless elegance to every table.

Beatriz Ball is one of those rare brands where artistry and practicality come together in every single piece. With roots going back over 30 years, the Cuban-born designer began working hand-in-hand with skilled metalware artisans on the outskirts of Mexico City, creating innovative designs in a special lustrous alloy of many metals — and she now operates a foundry dedicated solely to the manufacture of her own designs, employing nearly 100 of the best and most gifted artisans in Mexico.

In an intensely handmade process, skilled craftsmen create each piece one at a time, utilizing the same molding and casting methods the Greeks and Romans used thousands of years ago. The result is serveware that feels genuinely heirloom — cloud-like Vida Nube bowls and platters, sleek Sierra Modern candlesticks and ice buckets, and the sculptural Encanto frames and hearts that make effortless gifts. Additionally, all signature metalware products are made of sustainable, eco-friendly, and recycled materials.

Beatriz Ball has been awarded the prestigious ARTS Award for excellence in the Tabletop category six times, and her products were chosen as one of Oprah's Favorite Things. At Home for Entertaining, she is one of our absolute favorites — and it's easy to see why.
