Samson Handwoven Kitchen Mat in Grey
The Samson Handwoven Indoor/Outdoor Rug is a part of our Bunny Williams collection. Inspired by an antique rug sample from the designer's own personal collection, this fade-resistant rug is woven using an eco-friendly polyester fiber crafted from recycled plastic bottles. It's lightweight, low profile, and reversible. Washable and scrubbable, this rug is just right for high-traffic areas, porches, and patios.
Size: 2' x 3'
Care: Our Performance Rugs are handcrafted by skilled artisans for exceptional quality and durability. Follow these care instructions to keep your rug looking its best:
- Vacuum Regularly: Vacuum weekly or as needed. Always use the standard floorhead and set the vacuum so that the brush is the farthest away from the rug's surface.
- Rotate Often: Rotate your rug every three months to reduce wear and tear and avoid fading.
- Handle Loose Yarns: If a stray or loose yarn pops up over time, do not pull it. Trim the longer yarn with scissors until it's even with the rug pile.
- Clean Spills Immediately: Life happens, and spills do, too. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry white cloth or towel to soak up spills. Do not rub. Ā If a cleaner must be used, test a small area before applying to the entire stain. Use a dye-free gentle detergent solution mixed with cold water. Rinse and dry quickly with a clean towel. Do not oversaturate with water.
- Add a Rug Pad: Using a rug pad is highly recommended to help prevent slipping and stretching, and to add additional comfort underfoot.
- Professional Cleaning: We recommend annual professional cleaning to keep your rug looking its best.
Artisan Information: It all started with a dream, and a sewing machine. A lifelong lover of design (and dogs!) Annie Selke cut her teeth in merchandising and product development at Saks Fifth Avenue and Ferragamo. Then, harnessing her experience and passion, she returned to her home, in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, andĀ launched Pine Cone Hill from her dining room table in 1994. Dash & Albert rugs followed 10 years later.
