Home for Entertaining is excited to host our first 3-part series of Intermediate Mahjong lessons, designed for individuals or groups ready to sharpen their strategy and start winning more.

This class meets each student at their current level and takes them up a notch or two through group activities that sharpen your hand choices and help you make the best decisions during the Charleston. Because every hand played is random and in real time, no two classes are ever the same — you're building real instincts, not memorizing a script.

The series is led by Dana Lange, whose 29 years of teaching Mahjongg across the country show up in every session: part game show, part stand-up comedy, and entirely built around getting you to actually think like a shark. That's the kind of teaching that only comes from someone who has spent decades in the room reading how players learn.

The ticket price includes all 3 sessions (3 hours each) — 9 total hours with an instructor of this caliber — so you leave ready to beat your friends more, while still having fun.

Included in the ticket price: 

- An exclusive discount for participants to use in our shop (including Mah Jongg Products).

- A total of 9 hours of hands-on instruction and professional guidance to understand the game

- Wine for each participant to enjoy during the workshop

- Nonalcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, and sparkling water

- Snacks and bites to enjoy during the lessons

Please note that this ticket price includes 3 separate lessons taking place on 3 different days and these lessons have been designed to build on the knowledge gained from the session before. If you are unable to attend one of the dates, we unfortunately can not accommodate a make-up session or refund.

Purchasing a ticket to one of our experiences is similar to purchasing a ticket to a sporting event or a live performance and our cancelation policy is in place to best support our guests, partners, and staff. Tickets are nonrefundable after 24 hours of purchase, but may be transferred to another participant by emailing hello@homeforentertaining.com.
