Artisan Information: The Mahjong House was founded by Stacey White, a Houston-based mahjong enthusiast whose love for the game began six years ago when she stumbled into a local mahjong class simply because the bridge classes were full. What started as a happy accident became a deep passion — and a community. Stacey's Thursday group of nine players has been gathering ever since, celebrating life's milestones together and showing up for each other through the hard moments too. After organizing a wildly successful mahjong tournament in 2023, Stacey recognized her gift for bringing people to the table and launched The Mahjong House to share that joy more broadly. The brand now offers its own line of beautifully designed tiles, mats, racks, bags, and accessories, alongside classes, leagues, and events that make the game more accessible to players of all levels.
