"Today’s rain is tomorrow’s whisky." Scottish proverb Uisge beatha is the name for whisky in Scottish Gaelic, which translates loosely to "water of life". Carefully curated, the Whisky Puzzle of Scotland explores the five Scotch Whisky regions and their characteristics, each offering a different perspective on the elixir.  The map highlights the rich history of Scottish whisky as well as the iconic distilleries, past and present, guardians of the secrets and ancient traditions that have made Scotch Whisky famous around the world. The box features the profile of iconic single malt Scotch whiskies as well as an introduction to whisky tasting. Illustrated by hand, our design was first hand-drawn and then attentively reviewed with the help of some of the top whisky experts in the world. Yamit, a sommelier with an unwavering passion for wine, wanted to create a way to learn about wine that didn't feel like homework. That's when she teamed up with her friend Mathilde, a master of maps and puzzle lover, to create a playful experience that would encapsulate the essence of the world of wine and spirits. Together, they set out to create a series of wine puzzle that would each be an adventure to savor.
